Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. She gained acclaim in her final years of the 1970s as well as in the beginning the 1980s by playing recurring roles in various television shows, with which she frequently portrayed a glamorous image. Fairchild made her debut on her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 until 1977. In 1978 she appeared on the primetime soap opera Dallas as the very first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). The co-star was on ABC on the soap Paper Dolls which ran from 1984. Later, she performed the role of Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 through 1986. Fairchild played in theater, and in character roles in television shows, including Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. In fact, she was considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this show. She sits on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
