Sara and Lorraine

Sara Lynn Evans is the oldest daughter of seven and was raised in the rural areas of New Franklin, Missouri. When she was just five years old, Sara has always enjoyed music. At age 5 when she was five, she began singing each weekend with the band from her family. As a sixteen-year-old, she worked for two whole years at a nightclub located near Columbia Missouri. Sara moved from Missouri to Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with aspirations of becoming a singer-songwriter. Songwriter Harlan Howard heard Sara as she performed a sample of one of his tracks Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided that she would sing the music of Harlan Howard. She signed a contract with RCA. Evans made Three Chords and the Truth the album she released her debut in 1997. It was praised by reviewers for bringing back traditional country sounds and appeared on many charts of the top 10 albums of the year. Sadly, the albums didn't make it into the Top 40 at the radio station. Lorraine Bracco.....................
