Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as a member of the band One Direction. The father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own group of musicians with 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. Though he's been interested in music, he was also aspired to become an attorney or an physiotherapist. When he worked at the city's baker, Harry Styles was able to support his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that was formed in the year the year 2010. The group sang The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they made it to the finalist. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay 2 million pounds for One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
